West Ham's Winston Reid HITS BACK at suggestions that he has decided to join Arsenal
Reid has now responded to the speculation on social media, tweeting: "Whoever Wrote that story of me today is not true. Well done."
It now remains to be seen whether West Ham can persuade Reid to stick around in the coming months or whether he will leave as expected in the summer.

Reid is our first choice centre back, Matt Taylor was a squad player. So yes, it makes a difference to the fans I suppose? I reckon the mancs didn't give a fuck when Wes Brown left but wanted Ronaldo to clear up if he was going RM?

It actually exactly the same as every other player that leaves his Club at the end of his contract, it's just that we give a shit about this one.
I don't remember us demanding that Matt Taylor announce his intentions.

I can understand any player holding out for the best deal/move but cannot understand why they choose Spurs unless just for the money. It certainly isn't to win things.

As said, he can't denies every rumour, but if something like this breaks and it's genuinely not true it doesn't hurt to disregard it, takes 15 seconds on something like twitter. If he's agreed to go there on a free then il be gutted, absolutely gutted.

If it's not true then he needs to say so very publicly and very quickly. I think players generally underestimate West Ham supporters' contempt for Tottenham and don't expect the level of abuse that could come their way.
